Hi! I am Omar, a designer, illustrator and strategist with a heart for happiness, humor and technology. I am always on the look out for opportunities to make a difference in sustainable business development. For me, design is about creating possibilities for innovation, improvement and inspiration. I'm fascinated by technologies, futurism, and meaning/happiness in life. In my spare time I like express my creativity, play video games, read books, play squash, travel, and make bad puns (okay, that’s not a spare time thing..).

Personal Philosophy

In an ever changing world, I believe design can be a source of tools and knowledge to progress forward in an optimal direction. Through application of carefully chosen design methods, we can develop sustainable solutions that make humans flourish. Which is an essential aspect in an ever more technological world. In the process, creating wisdom and understanding to help us evolve with our evolving environment.

Everyone is the designer of their own happiness, be that to find their purpose or to create something meaningful. In my experience, design can be used to create solutions that range from strengthening a company’s value proposition and building a sustainable business, to having a social impact and making optimized solutions for specific environmental problems. And optimally, these all happen at the same time. It is this combination of two seemingly contradictory influences that makes design such an interesting field.
